Accompagnamenti

A selection of breads were served with the meal. Our original intent was to bake all the bread ourselves. Sadly, given the size of this event, this was not be possible. We did, however, get a ton of fresh bread from Wegmans whose bakery is astounding. In addition, Cat was able to pull off a brilliant focaccia, loaded with fresh basil. It was exactly what I wanted.

On your dinner table, you found the best quality olive oil we could supply, along with a dish of freshly grated, aged peccorino romano cheese. These were to be used in whatever way you saw fit.

The beverage choice for this meal was made for us by the restrictions of the site. It is only right and proper to serve wine with a meal of this kind. It grieves me that we couldn't even allow you to bring your own. We did, however, have a non-alchoholic sangria that we hope at least looked the part. We sincerely apologize for the omission of this crucial component of Italian dining, and we hope we did our best to make up for it.
